Thrilling Battles and Sourdough Delights: Golden Gate Go Tournament Shines at the SF Go Club!

The San Francisco Go Club, a bastion of Go history and community, served as the perfect venue for the Golden Gate Go Tournament on Saturday May 20th. Surrounded by the cultural tapestry of Japantown, this historical club has nurtured a love for the game that spans generations and predates even the completion of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. A testament to the enduring spirit of Go, the Golden Gate Tournament brought together passionate players for a day of strategic battles and delightful camaraderie.

Participants of all skill levels flocked to the SF Go Club for the event. Amidst the spirited gameplay, attendees were treated to a culinary delight provided by the renowned Boudin Bakery. The scent of clam chowder sourdough bread bowls and sandwiches mingled with the anticipation in the air, creating an ambiance that catered to both the mind and the palate.
