The San Francisco Go Club is pleased to announce an AGA-rated Go (囲碁/围棋/바둑) tournament in honor of the late Shinji Dote and the formative impact he had on the club and the Go community in the Bay Area.

SF Go Club members are eligible to participate at no charge. Lunch will be provided. The top three winners in each division will receive certificates recognizing their achievement.

To participate in the tournament, a current AGA membership is required. We welcome go players to join us in this fun and competitive event.

Tournament Details

– 3 round AGA-ranked tournament

– 30 minutes with 5x30s Byo-yomi per game

– Certificates will be awarded to the top 3 players of each division*

*Number of divisions depends on the number of players signed up

Schedule

– 9:30am – Check in

– 10:00am – Round 1 (followed by a break for lunch)

– 1:00pm – Round 2

– 3:00pm – Round 3

– 5:00pm – Awards Ceremony
