Do you have what it takes to compete in South Korea? The North American Go Federation, along with the San Francisco Go Club, are looking for one player to represent North America in the Shin-An World Baduk Masters tournament. The qualification tournament will take place on April 29, 2023 at the San Francisco Go Club (22 Peace Plaza #501, San Francisco, California). If you would like to register, please fill out this form before April 2, 2023.
Professional and amateur players are both accepted. The Shin-An World Baduk Masters will take place from June 20-24 in Shin-An, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. Players must be born on or before December 31, 1978 (over 45 years of age). The tournament format is single elimination and the rules are KBA rules (Komi 6.5 points). The prize for the winner is 30,000,000 KRW (roughly $23,000 USD).
